Training is a very important part of any progression in sport and we encourage all athletes to join us on Monday nights at 4:30 pm for some fun and to learn helpful tips and develop new skills. Our qualified coaches are able to spend time with athletes teaching correct technique and new skills that we don’t always have time for on Sundays during competition. We are also very lucky to have the assistance and help of our ‘senior’ event specific coaches, who will assist us during the summer by bringing their knowledge to “special event” training nights. ** Please note our General Trainings are OPTIONAL not COMPULSORY!!!!
We host and conduct local Track & Field meets on Sunday mornings at 9am on a weekly basis in the summer season (October – March) and participate in regional, state and national competitions throughout the year. Events covered are: 50m- 1500m, Long/ Triple and High Jump, Shot Put, Discus and Javelin, Hurdles and Walks. Our Tiny Tots program runs along side our older athletes. Tiny Tots is our grass roots introduction to athletics. It’s a fun look at developing basic motor skills like running, jumping, throwing and walking.
